Sunathon di CUCMS

Apa khabar sume? Diharap semoa orang happy dan sihat2 salu..Buat kwn bek sy yg bau je kua dr hospital hari 2, Nur Syamimi Mohd Zaid..Hope Mimi cepat sihat la desh?

Dah lama rasanya x update. Entry ni salu je buat, tapi xsmpat2 nk post ag..bnyak sungguh hal yg xpenah surut banyaknye 2..hehe. Ape2 pon maaf la k? Btw, hari ni sy nk share 1 entry pasal pogram Sunathon yg sy dan Dr. Muda sertai kat CUCMS baru2 ni. Pengalaman baru gak la..hehe.

Sunathon ni exceli Sunat+Marathon= Sunathon. BTW, sunat in english is circumcision.. Ramai yang x tahu ape hukum bersunat. Sunat adalah ibadah bagi orang Islam, bahkan jika sesorang 2 bersunat medically speaking genital area dia are less prone 2 get any infection as the foreskin dh di buang. Sewaktu proses bersunat ni, we can see a smegma which is a combination of shed epithelial cells, transudated skin oils, and moisture yg menyebabkn solat xsah, that we need 2 remove. Smegma ni ade kat c2 cuz it accumulate and being covered by the foreskin; cant be remove by normal clean unless we introduce the area. So bila bersunat dh xde la accumulation of smegma kat c2 ag dah :)

Dalam pogram yang kami join hari 2, kami di dedahkan dengan beberapa sesi. 1st session is lecture on the management of the pogram itself a.k.a cmne nk anjurkan sunathon kat uni kami snirik. So bnyak la input yang kami dapat n da presentation is so informative. Tengs to akak 4th year CUCMS 2..name ape tah sy lupe daa..hehe.

Second session is about apparatus yg diperlukan during circumcision session. Hehe..bnyak gak yg kami blajar..bermula dari needle holder sampai la ke catgut, semuanya kami explore. Hehe..jakun gak la sy ni memula. Dr. Muda cool je.. We oso study bout the technique in suturing. In performing khatan ni, bnyak cara yang kita buleh pakai. We can do dorsal slit and then cut it circularly and ade gak pakai clamp je..kalo yg pakai clamp ni, less blood tp cm susa skit nk jage cuz kalu clamp 2 x dibersihkan sebaiknya, it may predispose to bacterial infection la..adeehhhh. sakit wooo.. hehe.

Okok..4th session plak kami explore more about the steps in performing Sunat ni.. ada 4 stesyen yg kami kena p.

Memula skali, kami ke 1st station which is Local Anesthetic station. Kat sini kami study how to draw the LA ( lignocaine, marcaine) and perform IM and SC on a sponge. Seems to be easy by just seeing the procedure but belive me its hard! Plus, kena buat within 1 minute..OMG..belum ag ade bubble crisis tyme draw the drug kan..ape2 pon, im happy as i can perform it less then 1 minute. :D

Second station is the Clean and Drape station. We required to apply alcohol on the artificial penis( which is a bottle!) and drape it with drape paper...haha. Yg ni mostly sume owg leh uat ngn cepat la..n we succeed. Some people may think clean and drape is easy but it might turn tricky kalo kite x observe elok2 procedure yg di ajarkan 2..hehe.

Third station is artificial skin yang kita kena suture kan..huhu. Kalo dlm pogram ni, kami blajar buat interrupted suture which means kita bukan buat continuous one. Kat penis 2, the suture will only be at certain2 clock je; 12 with 6, 3 with 9, 2 with 8 and 4 with 10. Teknik ni di gunakan ntuk kurangkan bilangan needle prick 2..hehe. Cool kan? On artificial skin ni considerable gak la..kena buat 5 suture within 5 minute..termasuk nk readykan catgut pakai needle holder sume. Ape2 pon..kalu yg dh hebat 2, bape minit je dh setel. Tapi i fail 2 do so..hehe.

4th station and last one is the station that we need 2 perform a dorsal slit, cut and suture a TIRE! huhu..its so tired to suture a tire LOL. Here the main problem is tayar 2 mmg keras sgt2 n nk potong pakai scissors 2 jenuh la jugak. After cut it, we need 2 suture it pakai technique interrupted suture..Dr. Muda manage to do all the clock. Good for him :D but not fommie..hehe. Here also we use the catgut 2 suture the tire.

Bila petang menjelang, exam teori dan praktikal pon menyusul. Haha..mmg teruk gak la scorenya. Tapi it was such a fun programme. Tahniah 2 all the 3 seniors which able to get A.
