Syncope is the english term for pengsan. Pengsan or syncope is defined as total loss of consciousness with interruption of awareness of oneself and ones surroundings. This must be understood as bila person tuh pengsan and regain balik consciousness spontaneously...

Tahu x camne syncope ni boleh terjadi???

Syncope terjadi bila berlakunya pengurangan aliran darah yg menyebabkan kurangnya oxygen di hantar ke otak. Otak manusia merupakan organ yg amat2 sensitif kepada fluctuation of oxygen . Usually person yg mengalami syncope ni akan rase pale dowg ringan and salu ade episode of black out ( loss of conscoiusness ). Ade beberapa sebab kenapa syncope ni boleh berlaku; samada sebab yg berkait secara lansung dengan jantung dan aliran darah or sebab2 lain...

Causes for Syncope are (in the order of system by system),

HEAD HEART VESSELS:

• · CNS causes include HEAD:

Hypoxia/ Hypoglycemia: xcukup udara, xcukup gula
Epilepsy : sawan
Anxiety: gelabah...T.T
Dysfunctional brain stem (basivertebral TIA) : brain stem yg xboleh berfungsi

• ·Cardiac causes are HEART:

Heart attack : serangan sakit jantung
Embolism (PE): kehadiran bendasing dlm sistem peredaran darah
Aortic obstruction (IHSS, AS or myxoma) : salur darah di jantung tersumbat
Rhythm disturbance, ventricular
Tachycardia: Heart kita beating faster than normal

• Vascular causes are VESSELS:

Vasovagal
Ectopic (reminds one of hypovolemia)
Situational
Subclavian steal
ENT (glossopharyngeal neuralgia)
Low systemic vascular resistance (Addison's, diabetic vascular neuropathy)
Sensitive carotid sinus

Saya snirik pon salu jek pengsan... harap2 bila dah keje nnt syndrome pengsan sy akan hilang la..kalu x cmne la nk treat patients kan?? So harap anda semua boleh manfaat dengan entry saya kali ni okes?
